Quintus Postumius Solus, son of Quintus, of the Papirian voting-tribe from Emerita, soldier in the Twentieth Legion, in the senior century, aged 35, served 21 years. He is buried here.
Emerita was in west-central Spain. The primus pilus was the senior centurion of the legion; Postumius was in his centuria. Latin
