Gaius Lovesius Cadarus, of the Papirian voting-tribe, from Emerita, soldier in the Twentieth Legion, Valeria Victrix, aged 25, served 8 years. Frontinius Aquilp, his heir, had this set up.
Emerita was a colonia in Lusitania, now Merida in south-western Spain. Lovesius and Cadarus both appear to be Spanish names. Latin
